Regina Smith currently serves as Executive Director of Independent Adult Day Care Center on the Northwest side of Indianapolis, Indiana. She brings with her over 30 years of experience serving as Office Manager for a premier medical practice. Prior to assuming her current position with Independent Adult Day Care, she served three years as Guest Relations Coordinator, then served two years as Guest Relations Manager at Joy’s House Adult Day Services. Regina is a certified aging service professional, member of Leading Age of Indiana, and is a mentor for Pass the Torch for Women’s Foundation.
Regina graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University-Purdue University. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work with an anticipated graduation date in 2019. Her vision is to improve the quality of life of everyone she meets, and to empower them to make better life choices.
Her driving passion is to secure the welfare of those aging in her community. It was the love of her grandmothers who instilled value and worth in her as a child. As they aged, she had the honor of caring for them. When they died, she realized that a gift had been imparted to her, and that gift was to make life better for All Seniors.
These days she wears many hats. Regina is wife, mother, sister, friend and her newest role is caregiver to her aging parents. She has spent her career improving health and wellness for those in the “sunset season” of their lives.
Director of Marketing
Patrick has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare field, having held positions in sales, training, and management with key leaders in the pharmaceutical industry, including Merck, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, and Astra-Zeneca, as well as the senior care industry. He has worked in primary care, specialist, and hospital settings in multiple areas throughout the country. He is passionately committed to helping his clients and their families in aligning their needs with the level of care that meets and exceeds their expectations.
Patrick has served his communities in multiple ways, including work with Habitat for Humanities, and is an active member of his church. He has resided in the Indianapolis area for the last 14 years and considers himself a true Hoosier!
Patrick is a music and history enthusiast, and enjoys spending quality time with his wife Kristy, and his four children, ages 24, 19, 17, and 15.
Vice President of Medical Services
Lisa Chubb is our Vice President of Medical Services who works with our medical staff to ensure that our guests will receive the best medical care possible.
Lisa believes that nursing is a calling and had started her path to healthcare when she was 12 years old, volunteering in a local hospital. Lisa believes that anyone regardless of their position in health care, can make a difference. Lisa leads her team through a transformational leadership approach. She believes that communication is of highest importance.
The bulk of her career has been in the long term care setting, although she has worked in acute care, case management, reimbursement, long-term acute care, and with many other patient populations. Most recently Lisa has served in the Associate Vice President role for Assessment Support role. Lisa loves the fact that she can not only make a difference in the lives of our guests, but that she can make a difference for her staff as well. Lisa knows that she can change the direction of the center just by communicating a vision and leading the team to greatness. An extraordinary part of Lisa’s career was leading a new company’s facility from start up to a five-star status within only 2 short years, all while maintaining excellent customer and staff satisfaction ratings, and the very best clinical outcomes!
Lisa comes to us with many certificates of expertise in the field of nursing and leadership. She is wound care certified, with a proven track record of excellence in the wound care field. Lisa also has several certifications in case management and reimbursement as well. She was awarded a national nursing scholarship from the professional nursing organization AANAC for the difference she’s made in nursing thus far in her career, and continues to make on a daily basis. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing during with her bachelor’s degree completion for extraordinary academic outcomes.
Lisa holds a Master’s degree in nursing administration from Capella University. She plans to pursue her Doctor of Nursing practice degree at a later date. “Making a difference on any level means more than anything to me, and I plan to do this for each guest that I am able to touch through my clinical leadership. The more knowledge and experience that I am able to obtain, the more I can make a difference in the lives of the guests and staff that I serve. Emily D. Tisdale
Vice President of Operations
Emily D. Tisdale proudly serves as the Vice President of Operations for Independent Adult Day Care Centers. She first became involved with IADCC in a consulting capacity. Emily quickly developed a deep appreciation for the company’s vision and culture and, when the opportunity arose, jumped at the chance to become an official part of the team.
Emily has worked in the healthcare industry in various leadership positions throughout the continuum of care including hospitals, senior living, skilled nursing, and home- and community-based services. Throughout her corporate career, she successfully led the start-up efforts of new construction projects including hospitals, senior living communities, and adult day care centers. In 2010, Emily launched her own start-up, a successful management consulting firm, where she remains a Founder.
In her role at IADCC, Emily oversees adult day center management and operations and assists the corporate team with the development of new initiatives. She is passionate about cultivating a strong company culture and developing leaders at all levels of the organization so that IADCC can provide premier care for the Guests they serve.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma and graduated with distinction from Northern Arizona University where she earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Relations.
When not working at IADCC, Emily serves as chauffeur and bench warmer as she and her husband shuttle their two young children to their various activities around Fishers, Indiana.
